Wanting To Start A Business Here

I'm looking into starting a small school in Chiang Mai with my Thai girlfriend as a partner. I've worked here in Thailand for a year as a teacher so have already been able to get my work permit here and have a clean record. Anyone know of any tips to smooth the visa process for me so I can get the proper visa and a work permit through my new business? Also (and I know this doesn't quite fit with the Visa forum) can anyone provide any help on how to set up a business here legally?

get 7 promoters & at least a 51% thai majority shareholders & you have a legal company.

probably wisest for the uninitiated to get in touch with a company/accountant/layer e.g. one of the many advertising here to assist or do all the dirty work ;-)
