MG777
Please could anyone advise if there are tax breaks on rent. i.e. housing allowance is currently paid by myself to the landlord, however if the company pays directly to landlord can this save me money through any tax saving? Thanks in advance on any advice.

Irene
If rental is paid by the company to a landlord, then that payment shall be regarded as that employee's income. So in short, there is no tax break in having an employer paid your rental.
