ConfusedFarang Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 I read that Bangkok Dangerous remake was supposed to hit theaters in February but I haven't seen any commercials and can't find any trailers online aside from this website that mentions the release date as February 17 in USA. Anybody heard anything about this movie. Has something to do with Cage not able to do publicity for the film until then. This is for the USA, not sure when it will go out to the rest of the world. Hope this helps. The girl in it is danderously cute, I hope the one in the new version is just as cute. At first i didnt really like Thai movies, but after watching a few more they do produce some very good movies. They made the original The Eye. Hitman goes to Bangkok, has an existential crisis about his work and goes head to head with corrupt Thai government officials and slimy underworld figures. Typical Hollywood... The original is so charming because the anti-hero is a deaf mute. Sound editing is excellent if the camera takes the position of his point of view.
