Good information, confirming what we already know. It looks like at least one Bangkok Bank employee at one branch has been advised that the procedures used by immigration agents is the root cause of the problem and nothing to do with a 'rogue' branch manager and staff in Chonburi allowing unqualified Chinese nationals to open accounts. The hundreds of thousands of baht going in and out of foreigner's bank accounts and staying in the country is obviously far more serious than the tens of millions of baht that the Chinese were sending out of the country. -
