Sumo Rice?

Depends on the modification. My real beef with that Monsanato (is that right?) company was its breeding sterility into grain, so you can grow the stuff but can't save a part of the crop to use the following year. Once a country - probably poor - has switched to using the new grain it's permanently reliant on the producer. Then the blood starts being drawn.

Is that really true?

Well, if it can improve on 9 million tons of rice exports without sacrificing the current processes, all good.
