Can I Get A Multi Entry "o" Visa Based On Thai Child?

Featured Replies

My thai girlfriend (we are not married) will deliver our baby in Chiangmai this year. I am aware that an Oct 2006 change to the thai immigration rules makes it impossible for me to obtain a long stay visa to support my child.

Question is will I be able to get a multi entry 1 year Non "O" visa from a US based Thai consulate to visit my thai child.

Btw, my name will be registered on the thai birth certificate.

Would apreciate some advice.

Thanks

If you can not get married, or obtain the age of 50, the birth certificate will probably allow you to obtain a multi entry non immigrant O visa in the US. It is normally best to check honorary Consulates first.
