My GF is opening a new cafe on Sukhumvit (BKK) in a few weeks, but we are having problems finding some suppliers of particular foods and drinks.

Specifically, we have been unable to find out who can supply Beer Chang to us (a lot of Googling did not turn up the website for Beer Chang!).

Also, anyone know of a supplier for cakes and cookies, that sort of thing?

Finally, what about polystyrene boxes (the sort you use to take out McDonald burgers etc)

Beer, soda and polystyrene boxes at Makro.

If you prefer to have the beer delivered, as you are in the Sukhumvit area, ask people around the Klongtoy market and you'll find wholesalers.

For soda, you can also call Coca Cola by example, they'll even give you a fridge (it depends how your place looks... same thing for Nestle ice-cream, etc...). An idea about Nestle: note they can also give large containers of ice-cream if you want to serve with a scoop... Be sure your place looks good before calling these big companies...

Cookies: Check with the restaurant Lino on Sukhumvit 31 if they can sell you wholesale (02 259 9138), good Italian cookies, Tiramisu, etc... perfect for coffee and at least you'll have something different...

We are on Suk soi 24, right by The Emporium...opening in maybe 2 weeks!
