Yes, I have become incredibly lazy that it has become quite shameful... my days consist of going to Thai school every

morning for 3 hours and I still struggle to do even that! I look forward to the weekend every day... :o

Yes, unless drinking beer and reading TV can be considered active.

By the by, does anyone consider massage to be exercise? i think it probably is. :o

A 'special' one is the way forward IMHO :o

I'm sure some clever person could provide statistics on the calories used in a 90 minute Thai massage or, better still 2 hour oil. With and with out the extra.

I seek justification for absolute sloth.

Well there you are, a normal evening ending in Issan.

A thump in the ear, and I hope the beauty I married will be the thai lady I met.

Ohhhh, how disingenous they are, the world over.

Still love them as same, eh?

Yes, it's the heat. I am not lazy, but after about 10 minutes of exertion, I am totally exhausted and sweating and have to sit down. The other thing about the tropics is that a lot of things just don't have to be done today. No winter to get ready for etc..

I always find it amusing when people talk about how 'lazy' the Thai people are. My maid could work circles around me. I am like a buzz saw for up to 1/2 hour and then I am ready for the hospital. She just plods along all day long and never breaks a sweat!

Is it just me, or does Thailand make you lazy? Maybe it's the heat.
I think it is the heat, as soon as i walk into an airconditioned go go i seem to full of energy ! :D

mikethevigoman... I thought it was just me... :D:D

but it can't be the heat, quite comfortable in Chiang Mai this time of year.

but yes, I have found it easy to be lazy in LoS... the girls want to "take care you" domestic help is so cheap, why bother cleaning house myself? I don't even bother getting my own beer since I found that the wholesaler delivers it at no extra charge, I even get the little woman to phone the order through... it takes serious willpower to do anything physical, quite a change from my homeland where I was a work-a-holic, didn't even have time for girls then :o !! looking at my 10 year old passport picture, I look younger now, so I think it can't all be bad...

lazy? or laid-back? I can't be bothered deciding...

Although "I Love Thailand" the heat and humidity just put me down to the ground.

I just don't want to move, unless it's in a gogo bar or massage pallor with AC.

Combine with plenty of beer and great Thai food I usually gain weight when I'm there.

Missed my annual holiday one month vacation this year.

When I get off the plane in San Diego I feel like the air is pure nectar.

Can't wait to go back next year... :o

I am worn out by 3.30pm, after teaching all day.

All I want to do is go to bed for a couple of hours after I have ended school. I think it is the heat, in fact, sure of it .

Even the school kids try and doze in class at times........ a type of 'lethargic' look on their faces.

I was lazy before I retired and now since I am retired, I'm entitled to be even lazier. I LOVE it. I manage to do very little and I do it very well.
