Good segment on PBS Newshour, Aug. 24 (USA) concerning the trump disruption of the USA relationship with our closest neighbor, Canada. Very pointed explanation of the trade balance which points to only the oil the USA imports showing the reason for a trade imbalance. Also, the reminder that while trump denounces, insults, belittles our Canadian friends it was trump himself that directed the current trade agreement in his first term in office. I think we all would feel the same as Canadians if we had a good friend who turned on us. As an American citizen, I deeply apologize for the damage trump and his minions are causing and understand that the damage done by this betrayal will take generations to heal but never be forgotten. Historically, the damage done by trump will haunt us after he is removed. I encourage all Canadians to RESIST ... buy no American goods and cancel any plans to visit the USA until trump is removed from office, by whatever means. "32 US states list Canada as their greatest export trade partner." trump in his policies and actions is an enemy to the interests of the USA and its citizens.
