After-action Breakfast?

Okay, I saw this weird 'couple' in a restaurant one day and don't know them so am only inferring from what I saw and could be entirely wrong.

That being said, it was a farang guy in his mid to late 40's with a young dark-skinned Thai guy about age 18-22 in a mid-class restaurant in the mall. They looked like they were having a shit time together, the farang kind of just looking around to see if anyone was looking at him and the kid looking at his placemat. Later I went to the restroom and saw the kid standing outside the restaurant kind of looking at a stall-shop while the farang was still eating. Honestly it looked like they were in a prostitute/john relationship and didn't really care for each other but had to leave the hotel to eat.

Anyway, I asked a Thai about this and they said that you have to take the prostitute out once in a while to eat, shop, 'bai teaw', etc. or they will be unsatisfied and find someone else.

You are obviously not talking about shorttime here.

If you kept any prostitute in your room for several days, they would want to leave you and the room, otherwise they might starve to death. : :o

I used to invite my overnight guests for breakfast, as a matter of decency, but sometimes it is not appopriate, you might end up in a similar situation as you describe.

When I stayed at the Nana Hotel a few years ago( on the recommendation of a friend from Chiang Mai ), I saw this type of thing. When I was there, The Nana Hotel had/has free breakfast for the guests. I would sit by the big window facing the parking lot ( "Car park" in Britanese ) in the resturant while eating breakfast, watching all the Bar Girls leaving the Hotel..I'm sure the woman that I was with the night before did the same thing :o They definitely look different during the day!

In the Nana Hotel resturant, even though there were alot of single guys like me, I often also saw many "couples" eating breakfast....They have a European / Thai menu there, food for the guy ( Usually a Farang/White guy ) and rice and stuff for the girl (always a Thai woman :D ) The guys seem to be very hungry, and the Thai girls usually seem very quiet and not hungry at all. There is usually no eye contact or very little conversation at those tables... I'm pretty sure that there were women there who were not Bar girls, but it was the Nana Hotel after all... :D

I assume there are two types of "After Action" Type breakfasts, one where the guy eats alone after sending the BG away ( like me :D ) and the other, where the guy invites the bargirl to breakfast in the mornings, usually in these cases, the Guy has some sort of relationship(!) with the Bar Girl at this point.

As for me, at the time, I would have been too embarrassed to be eating breakfast in public with a bargirl that I just met the night before ..... Probably still am! :D

I don't usually make it up in time for the breaky. But if the bird has excelled beyond expectation I'll usually take her out for dinner.....ya neve know, you might get a fifth go for free! :o

If she's laid there like a sack of spuds then I give the short time amount and walk with her back to HER OWN BAR and pick a more sociable one for the night.

My advice....tell em you want it 3 or 4 times for the night (1 price of course). Take em back straight away to make sure you get yer moneys worth. If they're still a laugh and a giggle take em elswhere. Otherwise find another that is more like a rent-a-girlfriend.

Never had silent breakfasts/lunches and they've usually stayed in the afternoon untill they have to go to work!

DJ:

Didn't you mean to say:

"waking up without the beer goggles sometimes makes a man constipate on past actions..."

No, sorry to say this, but this sounds like a classic case of:

"s/he looked soooooo cute last night. Now I'm not so sure. How do I get rid of them? Hhhmmm, I know, I'll take them to a place where there's not a som tam in sight"

:o

As I like to snack little-and-often, as my way to satisfy various appetities, I usually take any temporary friend to both dinner and breakfast.

But as this is Thai nosh, about 20-30 baht each, no harm to my pocket.

And the girls always welcome me back - no spilling drinks, turning backs or such. So I must be doing something right. :o
