Iphone 16gb Prices And Availability

Just curious as to when the new 16GB models will be available at MBK. If somebody can confirm that the 1.1.3 out of the box iPhones are unlocked and available that would be great. Also has this dropped the prices of the current 8GB units that are available? They were using the fact that until now 1.1.3 wasn't unlockable to justify price hikes. I would be curious as to what they are offering them for now.

the great news for today is OTB 1.1.3 can be unlocked... Grab them now.

I guess it will take a few days or weeks for the new unlock to spread to Thailand. Prices will drop quickly after that.

Because airtime is so much cheaper than where phones are much cheaper.

I prefer that Thai system.

Yes, it can be unlock now. I am now using the 16gb which i bought from Singapore. Just cost me S$950 (Abt 22k bahts).. Let me know if you want me to get 1 set for you. I am going back to SG 1st week of March and will be back in BKK 2nd week of March.

That is a very good price considering that buying a legit one from the German Apple store costs around 25 Euro more(22K= 473 Euro Apple price=499 Euro). I guess they buy it from the USA and with how easy hacking is now don't charge a premium to hack it. Good news that the 16 GB is selling for less than many people paid for an 8 GB at MBK even a few weeks ago.I paid 24,900 for an 8 GB awhile back and would be delighted to have a 16 GB for less. I wonder if they will start getting rid of the 8 GB ones at cost? Seems like nobody in their right mind would buy one now if that truly is the new pricing.
