February 12, 200818 yr Author OK most odd.. I see it on 2 different browsers and have never heard of my flickr pics not being shown when I embed in other forums. Pic uploaded.
February 15, 200818 yr Right place right time. As a finikey sod, a bit of flash would have helped a little. It would improve the Buddha and got rid of the shadows from the back lighting, but getting the image more important than messing with the equipment.
February 16, 200818 yr Author Just a little point and shoot.. Doubt the flash that its equipped with would have had much impact but I do see your point.
March 4, 200818 yr No flash needed really, just focus at the bottom of the Buddha (half press the shutter button) to get a brighter exposure of the foreground, then lift the camera up (still holding the shutter button half down) to the shot you wish to take and the statue should become more brighter. Having said that, one does not know what would happen to the Sunlight at the top !!!!! Try this little trick, I do when the foreground is too dark. Nice shot Right place, right time. Yours truly, Kan Win
