Posting 'edit' Feature Erratic

Featured Replies

Thai visa logs me on automatically every time. I seem to be able to edit a posting I've made immediately afterwards but if I go back the next day and try there is no 'Edit' button to do the same thing. Why is this? Can you fix it? Thanks.

It's supposed to work like that :o You get 20 mins (I think) to edit your post, once that's up then it's fixed in stone forever.

Exactly. Only mods and admin can change anything after this 20 or 30 minute period.

Different from all other boards I've used which offer unlimited edits.

Don't see the logic.

There is no limit to how many times you can edit, just to how long you can leave it before deciding what you said was a bad idea. IIRC it's been like this since I joined.

Think before hitting the submit button and you'll be fine :o

Them's the rules, we don't care what you do when you're elsewhere, this is what you do where you are.

Why would you want to change something the next day? Never been on a forum that will allow you to change your posts the next day.
