sensei
Hello everyone, Is it possible to recover files from a formatted drive? A friend has installed Windows XP Pro without making a backup of the data in the drive. Gone are the hundreds of pictures and files that was there before reformat. Is there any hope of getting anything back? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Edited February 15, 2008 by sensei
Guest Reimar
Yes, there some software for Partition Recovery available and they works in, let say 60-70%! But the software I know is Payware only and the trials of that software is just showing that they can do the job! Just google for Partition Recovery Software and Unformat Software. Although it would depend on how you "formated " the drive Heres what I would do - 1. Remove the disk form the system it is in 2. Make a ghost of the disk 3. send the disk off to a data recovery company. There are loads of tools out there to get your files back but personally I would send the disk off to guys that do this all the time.
