Am passing through Bangkok next week and have a few hours in which I need to buy a backpack. Cheap and cheerful is fine as I will only be using it for a few weeks. Can anybody direct me somewhere that I can find one? Presume these are easily available on khao san road but would prefer to stick to somewhere on skytrain route as time is an issue.

Take BTS to Nana station, on Sukhumvit, you will have no problem finding many vendors selling them.
