Shipping From Thailand To Usa

Featured Replies

I am considering shipping about 20 kilos of electronic gear (with a value of about US$3000) back to the states. Does anybody know of a good reliable/safe, and not too costly shipper...?

Thanks

... and not too costly shipper...?

No such thing.

You didn't mention the weight of your packages or the size. If you're speaking of stereo equipment, you're better off buying in the US. The shipping and customs would be horrendous.

If smaller packages, I would consider DHL or UPS and be sure that they are the only ones that handle the packages. If they get into the hands of the Thai post, consider them gone.

Thanks Johnny,

I am wanting to ship a 40 year old vintage guitar amp that weighs in at 17+ kilos to a collector in the US.

Just to let you know I shipped my mountain bike two years ago from Thailand to Australia via DHL and they managed to break the frame.... I would only ship it very very very well cushioned if at all.
