Whats Best Visa

Featured Replies

What's the best visa for me.

Kiwi, under 50, married to Thai, Live in Thai 6 to 8 months per year, sick of new 90 day system, can register bussiness but not sure if good idea for tax

Multi entry non immigrant O visa on the basis of your marriage to a Thai. Most Consulates outside of the local area will issue them with marriage certificate/copy of wife ID card as proof of relationship. Allows unlimited stays of up to 90 days for a year (and you can exit/return) if a stay is longer.

So I still have to do visa run every 90 days?

90 days Non-O is about the best you can do. :o

Your question was about visas - they only allow up to a 90 days stay. If you want one year extensions of stay on the basis of your marriage you will need a family income of 40k per month and it has to be extended each year at about the same time so may not fit your needs (you don't say what you schedule is).
