Orange Mobile Question

Featured Replies

Just a quickie:

I have a PAYG mobile on orange (bought a sim card and stuck it in my mobile).

Every couple of days, I get an SMS text message from '9111'. I think it is sent in Thai, but as my phone doesn't support Thai, all I get is a message with null characters (lots of little squares).

Are these just junk mail smses that I can ignore?

It's just junk. You can simply ignore this number. Or you can call Customer Service and tell them you do not wish to receive any bloody message from this number ever again. I did. And it's been quiet since.

Only just today.. I've got this such junk SMS again from number 9222.. Yeah, you bet.. they're going to receive another complaint from me tomorrow. :o

Ah, thanks for that. And I'll definitely be giving customer service a call to get them stopped.

At the same time, I'll have another bash at setting up my voicemail. (It is stuck on 'Thai' and I cannot get the language changed)

Call the 9111 number and ask them what they want to say.

Are you sure it was 9111, sounds awfully close to the Emergency number.

Now that's a worrying thought:

'UR hse is n fire. Jmp frm wndw & w'll catch U'

or

'U brk law. Pay $$$ T mny'
