Family Visiting Thailand

Recommended Posts

During the end of term break my family (mother, father, brother and sisters) will be visiting for about 4 weeks.

As I am still relatively new to Thailand and appeal to those of you who have been here for a while.

Where in BKK would you take your family if they were to visit?

I don't know bankok very well but it would be nice if I could give them a good tourof the city.

Also will be considering visiting a beach but only for about 2-3 days so because of the short period it would be ideal if it was relatively close to BKK-any suggestions?

Thanks :o

I have taken my Mum and Dad and many other relatives to Wat Phra Kieow, Wat Po, a tour up the river to Nontaburi is nice. The older ones seem to like Jim Thompsons house. A trip to Meaung Boran and the croc farm in Samut Prakan was very very good, if you have a car, if not rent one from Highway-800B.

A trip to Ayudya on the boat is also a great day trip.

The teak palace near Dusit Zoo is also very nice.

Hua Hin is good.

Don't take them to Pattaya.

JJ(Chatuchak) market .

Pat Pong night market.

Pratunam/Panthip.

Floating market if they like getting up earl
