Hi everyone ,

I am new here. I am a thaigirl but I am growing up in europe. I dont know much about Thailand and I am planning to do a nosejob there. I have a very ugly nose and I went to some plastic surgeon in europe, but they seem they dont have confident at do this, cause they have not much experiment of doing a nose job for a asien girl. I heard about some beautiful nose job have been done in Thailand, but I have no ideal which hospital and doctor should I go to...

I have been looking at different website like Bumrungrad Hospital, Yanhee Hospital og PAI, Any one have good/bad experiences in those hospital? which one will you guys recommend?

Dr. Armon Pomee at Bumrungrad hospital is an excellent plastic surgeon and does fantastic work. Talk to him and he will advise you if there is a problem in doing your rhinoplasty.

The price in Yanhee is cheap, but I doubt about the quality and credibility of the doctor and hospital.

I dont know much about Bumrungrad and PAI.

How about Dr.Preecha fra PAI or Dr Nara in HATYAI and Dr pat from Tokai? some people recommend them to me.

Dr. Armon Pomee at Bumrungrad hospital is an excellent plastic surgeon and does fantastic work. Talk to him and he will advise you if there is a problem in doing your rhinoplasty.

I'd have to second that. Yes Bumrungrad International is expensive by Thai standards, but you get what you pay for. If you get plastic surgery botched you will spend 10 times more trying to get it fixed, and it may never be the same again.

Some things you just don't go cheap. It's your face you will have work done on after all. And you will find Dr. Armon Pomee is a master IMHO. He did some great work on my Filipina wife.

She had her eyes done (blepharoplasty) for a bit more of a Western appearance, rhinoplasty (aka nose job), and breast augmentation.

I'll quote myself on the subject from another thread:

In 2005 me and the missus went to Bumrungrad International, and she had Breast Augmentation done by Dr. Amorn Poomee. The Package is 90000 Baht/1800 Euro. This was after we were already married 5 years and I was happy with her breasts. My wife had AA cup size and was very self conscious about it. Her doctor was excellent, did not encourage her to "GO BIG" as so many Western doctors do. She had silicone implants inserted through an armpit incision. They have a natural look and feel, they are in proportion to her size. There was no loss of sensation or function. She can breastfeed because of the placement of the implant under the muscle. She is Filipina, 4'11" (150 cm) tall and has a C-cup now. Just because someone has BA doesn't mean that they get mega huge implants.

They did everything for around 120,000 including everything, the 3 procedures, medications, nice private room, and all other hospital care.

My wife had rhinoplasty at Yanhee Hospital a few years ago, and she is thrilled with the results. The doctor did an excellent job at a most affordable price. The entire bill for everything was about 9,000. Baht.

I was an inpatient there some years back for treatment of a leg injury. My stay was for three days and the care was excellent. In my opinion, Yanhee is an excellent choice. Of course, it is most noted for plastic surgery.

Preecha (PAI) is good.

Poomee at Bumrungrad is good(dont be surprised if he says he cant or is busy when he sees your photos or suggests nothing)

Somyos Kunachak is awesome for nose jobs at yoskarn.

and ofcourse it depends on what methods you will want to undergo reducing nose flap removing hump augmenting bridge or tip correcting alignment narrowing the nose etc

Hi everyone

I got the information from both PAI and bumrungrad.

For rhinoplasty and alarplasty in PAI, it costs sbout USD1500.

For rhinoplasty in bumrungrad by Poomee, it costs about USD5200.

What a huge difference in price! I am surprise that it does cost more in PAI???

I think I will have rhinoplasty in either one of them. But I really dont know which one should I choose?...I am afraid if I choose the cheaper one (PAI), the result is not good...but on the other side, it will be nice to save some money if the proceedure is the same and they both a good surgeons.

Have anyone had rhinoplasty in PAI?

Do anyone know that how's the clinics hygiene in PAI and bumrungrad?

what rhinoplasty will each surgeon do? how much work will they do? will they also reduce? will they narrow the nose? will they use implants? will they modify the tip? will they correct the septum?

Preecha is a good surgeon(personal experience) and so is Poomee but what is each surgeon going to do? give more details so i can help you.

have you seen somyos kunachak at yoskarn? if you havent go see him too. hes excellent and possibly in my opinion the best for noses since he is a professor and specialises in it and does hard cases that others dont or cant.

eg preecha may for that price only do silicone implant augmentation and alarplasty very simple. Poomee might do much more work such as hump removal, bridge augmentation, tip augmentation or lift, tip fat removal, septum alignment, alarplasty, thinning out the nasal tip etc etc etc

so get more details on each surgeons exact procedure.

also since consultation is free go and see somyos kunachak at yoskarn and get his detailed opinion and tell him about the others methods and compare.

he did 3rd revision on partners nose and did an awesome job when poomee wouldnt touch it and preecha said leave it alone. he spent 5hours or so in surgery!!! and looks awesome now. but with augmentation slight hump removal and tip implant and alarplasty you might only spend 1-1.5hours. more extensive work maybe 2- 2.5hours so yes his case was very difficult alar plasty septoplasty fat removal scar tissue removal cartlidge graft thinning out tip etc etc etc very delicate and time consuming work hence the long time.

totally understandable. trust me any of those surgeons i listed are excellent. but if i had to choose I would say for your nose go to somyos followed by preecha and then poomee. For your breasts any of them can do it but id say Greechart first followed by preecha. For your eyes any can do it as its very simple so if your breasts are being done by greechart do eyes with him too if breasts are by preecha get eyes with him too.

And I really hope my nose should be a simple procedure..cause i dont have complications like deviated septum/previous plastic surgery jobs.

I shall go disturb Dr Greechart again..the last time I emailed him, I got directed to another doctor instead. Understand he's busy..but I need to have a rough gauge of what he thinks is good before I go. End up the other doctor said he does not recommend alarplasty cause of visible scar. Conservative but like what you say, i dont want to have to do the other procedures again. Such a torture i can imagine.

alar plasty done by somyos i have seen leaves barely noticeable scar and its hidden in the crease fold of the nose and very very fine that will probably fade over time. if you want it do it. but go see somyos and see what he says.

as far as the torture pain of breast augmentation etc yes its painful but youll have morphine injected into you and itll be painful for a while but will slowly get better. personally id prefer to do many things in 1 time rather than do 1 thing then come back and do another thing and then come back and do another thing.

thank you sampan! i have proceeded to email them and some replied already! update a bit..

i emailed yanhee dr sukit, no response from dr greechart(probably too busy). he's very straightforward and prompt with replies and suggested just silicon for the nose bridge, no alarplasty cause he said nostrils arent too big, and removal of fats for double eyelid. 540 per procedure. comes up to 1080 usd.

i also got a reply from somyos' assistant i think...doesnt seem to be from him. very generic answers with septoplasty, alar reduction as well as silicon implant. waiting for a quote for price from him.

dr poomee said hes not doing these surgeries. no idea why.

pending greechart and dr preecha from PAI. wish they would hurry..but then ill be patient.

dr nara doesnt reply to emails himself, very low key but i heard great results from some.

and nono, not that im worried about breast implants, its not in my consideration cause its something im very happy with already=)

get somyos assistant to get DOCTORS opinion and explain why he thinks so. Push for more details.

Some people are very silly. I mean they are spending thousands of dollars and having surgery but they dont want to spend money on calling or cant be bothered!!! thats silly and stupid. Its your health your body and your responsibility to find good competant surgeons etc. If you have to call keep calling telling you get your answers.

You know if you submit a photo via pm to me i could also advise you on what I think would make you look good.

I have email Dr. somyos kunachak at yoskarn, but I am still waiting for his reply.

For my nose, Dr. poomee suggests to reduce of the size of nostrils and to make the nose narrower, also cartilage graft to the tip of the nose to give more projection. Dr. Preecha suggest rhinoplasty and Alarplasty. He doesnt mention much about how much work he is going to do in the surgery. And everytimes I ask his assistant that is it possibe for Dr. Preecha to perform my surgery, his assistant avoids to answer my question. So I am not sure he is the one to perform my surgery or not...

I really dont know which one I should choose, specially I havent been to Thailand before. I dont know much about there. And it is a long way for me just go there for consultation. Have you had any surgery in PAI, yosharn and bumrungrad? What kinds ? How's the hospital hygiene and quality? I see some video about bumrungrad in internet, it seems a very nice hospital...

I really really want to fixed my nose, it has been brothering me for many years. I want to find a good surgeon to do it proberly and price is my last concern.

Do you know anythings about chin Augmentation? because both doctor suggest chin augmentation may improve my look...

if reducing width, please ensure you do not go too narrow. Try to find some examples of celebrities, and you will see that some have narrowed their noses too far.

Asian faces need a moderate width nose, not a tiny thin one. Even look krueng/mixed race have moderate width nostrils/noses.

Raise the profile slightly; narrow slightly; everything in moderation is key. Otherwise you will look like Champagne X (adult pin up girl, with a lot of surgery who looks awful).

trust me preecha can do the work but its his assistants that do the answering.

LISTEN GUYS if you want answers CALL THEM AND PISTER ANNOY THEM TO GET ANSWERS. And when you go to BKK GO TO THE SURGEONS ASK THEM ALL THE QUESTIONS YOU WANT and then choose whom you think is best.

Dont judge a surgeons skill and experience by how quick or late they reply or how stupid and generic the reply is because of assistants. Some doctors in bkk reply very well but are not good and they will make great sales pitches like Dr pitchet. Whilst others like Greechart, preecha poomee somyos dont care to make sales pitch or sell anything to you or any pressure.

FOR THE LAST TIME!!!!! You guys are going to go under the knife and have surgery that will alter your looks permanently and spend thousands of dollars. Dont be lazy or try to save some money by only emailing!!! CALL THEM, EMAIL THEM, TALK TO THEM, GO AND MEET ALL THE DOCTORS AND ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS YOU WANT AND ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE AND HOW MANY OPERATIONS LIKE THAT THEY HAVE DONE ETC. then decide based on all the information.

I heard a lot about somyos, but I can't find much information about him in internet. I have looked at his website, the works he done is very impressive. I have contacted him and he recommended me to have rhino and chin implant.

I want the style is natural, good looking but unchange my face, no high ,no fake.
