libya 115
If I attempt to play a DVD on my laptop/notebook it says 'you have 6,5,4,3 etc chances to choose a permanant region for DVD. I gave up at 2. Is there any over-ride function or will I have to go for region 2 which is which most of my DVD's are.

Meerkat
I use DVD Region Free It basically traps the region bit before Windows can use it, so lets you play DVDs from any region at any time. There might well be a free piece of software that does the same thing, but have used this pay program for years and it's always done the trick.
