March 13, 200818 yr I know it will vary from application to application - but from what has been seen - what are the chances of getting a 12 month multi entry tourist visa after the first 3 month tourist visa has already been completed. A 12 month multi-entry will allow me to finish off my studies and be with my TGF at the same time, otherwise im going to defer my studies and go to s.e asia to live with her for a while. We plan to get engaged during her 12 month stay, then we can go from there. Any ideas of how hard they are to get? And if we apply for a 12 month visa and they don't want to grant it do they have the option to grant a 3 month if they want or do we need to actually apply for a 3 month? Regards Nick

It will be up to DIAC if they will grant the visa as a single entry or multi entry. It might pay to make some enquiries from DIAC in Australia and seek their advice first.
