March 15, 200818 yr To all Irish folk in this here pub and to all friends of Eire: happy St. Patrick's Day! I started celebrations on Saturday evening by going to an Irish concert with some friends, followed by a pint of Guiness at the nearby Irish pub (the ladies refused to be photographed)
March 16, 200818 yr You are right, and we are both wrong. I don't know what made me think that St. Patrick's Day would be on March 16. It falls on March 17, two days before St. Joseph's, but this year it has exceptionally been moved to March 15. See these links: http://www.apples4theteacher.com/holidays/...tricks-day.html http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=9917 Being oldfashioned when it suits me, I will now drink another Guiness to St. Patrick on Monday.
March 16, 200818 yr Any time's a good reason to party for St. Patty....I'm sure he'd approve.. There'll be lotsa sore heads Tuesday.

March 14, 200917 yr Noticed en route to the Emporium yesterday... The Dubliner Irish Pub (Sukhumvit Soi 22 at Washington Square) is advertising 100 baht Guinness beers all-day on this year's St. Patrick's Day....this coming Tuesday, March 17, 2009. And a mention of their regular, ongoing weekly specials... Anyone else got any St. Patties Day specials brewing???
