Visa Extension/non B

Featured Replies

I am currently coming to the expiration of my final entry on my triple entry tourist visa. I am still waiting for all my documtation to get my non B visa however they will not be processed in time. I really cannont afford to fly to KL or Singapore to buy a new tourist visa at the consulate. Is it possible to extend my current tourist visa here in Bangkok for 30 days to buy time while I wait for my documents? And if so can a non B be processed here in Bangkok on an extension or will I have to fly to KL/Singapore in thirty days with my necessary forms? Indeed can a non B be even processed at all on an extension? Unfortunatly time is not on my side. Any info will be a great help :-(

Have you used all your extensions on your visa? (60+30)*3 = 270 days

Each 60 day entry of a tourist visa can be extended (probably 30 days) upon payment of 1,900 baht/photo/TM.7 form. There have been several recent isolated cases of only receiving 7 days extension if no outbound ticket was available but it is not likely and seems to have ceased. I suspect you will have to exit to obtain a non immigrant B visa after you make application and receive receipt for work permit.
