There is no PR endorsement, PR is issued for life, it never needs renewal or review. In other words you don't ever need to go to immigration again, except: Situation 1: When you need to get an exit and re-entry stamp, and that doesn't include any form of review of your original PR approval. Situation 2 : when your PR book is full of stamps (stamps inserted by Thai immigration when you depart and re-enter Thailand). When the book is full you must go to CW and the small team who take care of this will issue a new PR Book, and that doesn't include any form of review of your original PR approval. When you apply for an exit and re-entry permit the officer takes the next number from a progressive list of numbers - purely a beaurocratic process, not a renewal of your actual PR. (As above PR never needs renewal or review.) The small team at CW who do this complete the whole exercise add the stamp, add the dates and add the beaurocratic number (as above) in one operation in both books (PR book and exactly same stamp and details in your passport, all complsted within a few minutes and you can collect your PR Book and passport immediately.
