Have decided not to renew my contract at school next term. Have had a work permit and a non-imm b since may 1997. This expires on 31 mar 2008. I would like to stay in Thailand for a few months at least. Obviously when I hand in my wp my visa will expire. Does anyone have any experience on finishing work and taking some travel time? Was thinking of going to Vientiane and trying for a double entry tourist visa.

A double tourist Visa will give you almost 6 months stay with extensions . They do seem to be getable from Vientianne
