I have noticed that alot of the Transport Co. Vip 999 (24 seater) buses out of Mochit, seem to be newer than the last time I took them in 2005. Does anyone know if the ones from Bangkok to Phuket are also new. Just curious cause I will be taking it to Phuket.

Thanks!!

it was 970 thb, you can buy it form thai ticket master also for an extra 20 thb. the bus it took was new, but did not have 24 seats, actullay had liek 30 on top and 4 on the bottom. the buses are bigger. than the older 24 seaters, but still the same seat configuration.

Thanks for that.

I like bus and train travel, air gets boring, just clouds.

If I have the time, land transport does me.

Sometimes o/nite ya save accommodation costs.

Love the trains in Malaysia, I get about 50% off, being senior citizen.

Hi,

Do you know where to take the 999 bus 24 seats (transport.co.th ?) from Bangkok to Udon Thani ?

Thanks.

You actually have a choice of operators. Which will depend on what times you would prefer to travel. Go to the 3rd floor at Morchit (all Isarn bus Booking is done on the 3rd floor, both Govt. 99 or 999, or private operators. The private operators tend to run more services.Just by the way, 99 and 999 are deemed to be lucky numbers in Thai. It does not necessarily mean you will arrive at your chosen destination in one piece. 55555555
