I have just been told that my new school will be unable to sort out my work permit before my current visa expires. I will need to make an emergency run to the border to get another 3 months on my non-o. I want to hit Mai Sot today for a border hop in the morning. I probably won't arrive there till late.

What time does the border at Mai Sot open till?

What times on Sat/Sun?

Thanks Chris, I would imagine that Mae Sai and Mae Sot follow similar rules.

I'll take a chance and just go.

I have used Mae Sot 4 times as a border crossing.

On my first visa run there one of the officers told me the last entry back into Thailand for farangs is 4.30 pm.

I would cross the bridge to Burma immigration no later than 4pm as it's quite a walk across the bridge although usually very quiet at that time of day.
