toopeekaa 1
Seems like a very slow couple days in The Chiang Mai Forum, so maybe I can get some help Maybe this is directed to mostly Americans or those who may have lived in the Southern States of the US... Have you ever had the breakfast with Biscuits, Salt Cured Ham and eggs with Home fries.... Maybe if one is really lucky some red eye gravy thrown in..... Ham so salty that you have to fry it in water first...... Well I would like to know if there is anywhere locally where this ham may be purchased. Internet has it anywhere from $70 - $160 for an approx 15 pounder {7kg +/-] This of course was originally started in the days before proper refrigeration and I would thin that there should be some comparable locally.... One slice for breakfast and you can watch the red lines move up the face like a thermometer.... good for a 6 beer day... Just for the recorc, I had one of these brought in in a suitcase and took it to a local supplier for slicing...... their meat saw could not slice it......Finally went to NFP who have a super bandsaw whick worked Basically everything in a breakfast thet your doctor sez not to eat thanks
Shamrock
Hi toopeekaa 1! Would you be from south of the Mason/Dixon line (or thereabouts) by any chance? If so would like to email with you some about Chaing Mai. If you agree, please send me a PM.
