Koh Racha Good Island To Relax And Dive ? Or Is There Better Close To Phuket?

Anyone know much about Koh Racha ?? My kid's and I are looking for a nice Island close to Phuket in early April for 5 days to hang out and do some diving/snorkeling. I was told Coral Island might not be the best (is the coral dead?). Any other Ideas ?
