Hi, I'm australian, my company is registered in California, and is currently contracting in order to open a branch in Asia. I need to get a 1 year non imm B. Where is the best place to get it ? Australia ? USA ? Europe ? Japan ? On the Sydney Consulate web site they say :

"The application must be supported by the followings; a letter form an employer in Australia and a business counterpart in Thailand which stating clearly the necessity of getting a multiple entries one year visa, a work contract, a business registration of a company he/she working for"

As my company is in the USA, and doesn't have a counterpart in Thailand, I guess I shouldn't even try Sydney, right ?

From the US consulate in Portland Oregon, you just need a notarized letter from your US company requesting a multi entry B visa.
