Buying imported fruit is so hit and miss.
I do love the fresh tropical fruit readily available like mangoes, pineapples, bananas etc, but also enjoy apples and oranges that are imported. It's pretty much a lucky dip whether these are going to be any good because there's no way of knowing how long they took to get here from country of origin, or even if they were fresh when they left. Just threw away a whole kilo (299 baht) of oranges that looked fine on the outside but were all dried up inside. Same with apples, rosy red on outside, but taste like wet cardboard inside. Strangely, grapes always seem to be OK. -

Anyone tried Thai Sumigran sumatriptan/Imigran/Imitrex? 1/10 the price...hmm
Nothing went wrong. It seemed to me that it wasn't as effective as the Bayer stuff, but that was a very subjecive impression. I felt uncomfortable enough to spend several thousand baht more on Avelox. It didn't help that I didn't know the company, and few pharmacies carried their product. -

Thai Foreign Minister Requests South Korea to Relax Travel Rules
Thai Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa has recently had talks with his South Korean counterpart, Cho Tae-yul. The focus of their discussion was the travel issues faced by Thai citizens due to South Korea's strict entry policies. According to a report from the Yonhap news agency, the meeting took place last week. Maris has asked that the rules under South Korea's Electronic Travel Authorization (known as K-ETA) be eased. While the K-ETA system does provide initial approval for travelers, it does not promise entry into the country. This policy has led to many Thai tourists getting turned away at South Korean airports. This restriction has triggered a social media campaign in Thailand urging travelers to consider other destinations. As a result, there has been a 21% decrease in Thai tourists visiting South Korea in the first four months of 2024 compared to the same period last year. South Korea's strict entry regulations are a part of its efforts to prevent illegal immigration and unauthorized work issues. The Thai community has been a particular area of focus. During a meeting in Seoul earlier in February, South Korean officials explained that their rigorous entry checks were necessary due to the increased number of Thai people living in the country without the correct documentation. Despite these difficulties, South Korea has shown willingness to work towards a solution. They have expressed their desire to work with Thailand in a constructive way to resolve these travel-related issues, and diplomatic discussions are ongoing. Layover flight
Aside from your personal abject remarks…what you are referring to is transit visas, pp holders from certain were countries required to obtain a transit visa to pass through China for up to 24 hours, that has been lifted, for some pp holders of certain countries transiting longer than 24 hours still require to obtain a visa, it is required to stay in the confines of the transit area(s) with this type of visa, no existing and exploring. Still, an entry visa is required, pp holders from various countries are exempt from applying before arriving. The eligible exempt pp holders can apply on arrival for up to 6 days. PP holders from an unlisted country cannot enter China without applying for and obtaining an entry visa before departure. -

Brutal assault on Canadian raises serious questions about tourist safety in Pattaya
Seen no footage of anything. I have just seen vile remarks blaming a former professional businessman who has been attacked by Neanderthal thugs, and you, straight away jumped the gun and blamed him. This unchecked behaviour by ' bouncers ' is far too common in that area. For a man in critical condition, your comments fall way short of decency.
