The Ministry of Interior is preparing a change of legislation which will be applied retroactively from April 1st, 2008 onwards. Farangs older than 86 years can now own land (not exceeding 1 Rai) if they register the purchase in the Land Office accompanied by both parents.

If the farang should be at least 86 years old..let say his parents gave birth to him at 10 years old then they will be 96 years old now :D:o:D

The OP's post is almost as funny as suggesting that a farang can own land (up to one rai and solely for residential purposes) so long as they are prepared to invest a minimum of 40m baht in BOI-approved government investments.
