gmail from iphone on wireless in pattaya through tot, to myselfe on hotmail same location no worrieS

Was okay briefly today, but down again.

All other websites work fine.

How or why would a foreign website be down for some people in say, Thailand, but not for others in the same area?

My gmail has been down all day today (Sunday 5 April). All other Google functions work just fine. What gives?
