went over todays papers and did not see it. can you advise which paper or even better tell us what the article said.

I have 3 Thai Friends with Construction Companies who are based in the Hua Thanon & Bang Kao area & i can not, believe it or not, contact 2 of them..

My husband has just finished skimming The Daily News, Thai Rath, Komchadleuk and Matichon online papers and doesn't see anything about it.

If you can't find it online, perhaps scan it and upload the scan.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that, we're still a little behind down here. The internet hasn't really caught on yet and most of the shootings go unreported. Try it again in a few years and you may get a more realistic figure

Sorry but I have a very hard time believing such a big story and that it was in a paper but not a single other person on this forum or that I have talked to on Samui has heard a thing about this = she WAS yanking your chain!!

I have to agree. There has been no proof of this story posted by the OP or anyone else.

Perhaps it should be closed until it can be substantiated.

I have seen other thread headings edited to reflect "rumours, hearsay, gossip". If I recall correctly, some have even been closed until the "story" is verified.

Just giving him or Noodles, who also said he read it, a chance to find the article. It is not uncommon for one paper to not carry a story that another paper has, but it is a tad unusual that nobody who lives in Samui has heard a thing about it by now.

In light of that, IF you come up with verifiable news from a legitimate news source please PM me or another mod on duty and this topic will be re-opened.
