Holistic Midwife Or Doula

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! Ive recently found out that I am pregnant for the 2nd time. :o My first birth was a home birth in the UK and I would like to do the same for my 2nd. I hired a private midwive for the first as the NHS was quite negative about having a first baby at home especially without any pain meds! lol

Anyway she was excellent and I would love to find a private midwife or doula to help me out this time. Any idea?

Also I am vegan and was wondering if any other pregnant veganites are around....?

kanon99 is a doula, try pming her for advice & congratulations :o

Congratulations! Good luck in your search for a midwife/doula. Sorry don't have any recommendations. Good luck!!

In the eary seventies HB was quite popular.

I did my fair share of "cutting and catching" in homes communes etc.

Remember your hematocrit must be in range and have a good back up plan if an emergency comes up.

But you know all that, so kudos to you and best of luck with your child's birth.

Oh yeah, sorry no midwife referalls in BKK.

But there is a Chinese woman DR. Lee who is a popular acupuncturist that might be a good resourse.

Chok dee na krup... :o
