April 10, 200817 yr No source, just the fact that the government gave an extra official holiday. AFAIK the official holidays are on Sun the 13th, Mon the 14th and Tuesday the 15th, with Wednesday the 16th as a substitute for the Sunday holiday. Normally government departments strictly close on official holidays!

April 10, 200817 yr Maybe the holidays thread should be updated in the General topics section. I've already been caught out by that once this year with the chinese new year being marked as an official holiday.

April 11, 200817 yr You sure about that wca? Yep, definitely. Banks were specifically excluded as there are Bank of Thailand rules prohibiting them from closing more then 4 days in a row!
