Hi forum

I just wanted to know if anyone know a place where one can see all (most) of the Thai mutual funds you can buy in Thailand with a description where and what they invest in.

I'd be interested in this as well. I'm trying to convince my GF that she should start putting some of her money in mutual funds.

As an industry the fund management groups in Thailand shot themslves in the foot a bit a few years back by the way they structured pricing, and relied on direct sales forces. Hence there was little incentive to set up fund supermarkets/ strong distribution channels to serve several fund management companies at the same time, unlike other countries. This is changing though. Many of the banks are now sales/distribution agents for several fund management houses now, and the range of mutual funds has expanded significantly, so it is no longer limited to just Thai fixed income and Thai equities. There are now overseas funds, commodities funds, emerging market funds etc

You could try searching the banks' websites but I don't think they are quite there yet in terms of concept. Still best to get web based info from the individual fund management houses. It's changing though. A lot of the banks will have hard copy fact sheets in their branches.

Mean time, some of the key ones:

http://www.tmbam.com/v1/th/index.php (Thai only - English version "coming soon")

BTW Lipper is agood source of performance data, and covers most Thai funds
