I'm looking for some games for a laptop but do not like any shoot-em-up style games (utterly bore me to tears). Back in '94 I played a friends Myst1 game on a 486 and really liked it. Can anyone recommend these sorts of puzzle/other worlds games. I doubt I will be interesting in social networking and-or team/1on1 game. I also dont want anything overly complex like some nonsense like literally buying things for an avatar in an online store.

Games to install to hdd or play from disc.

Also if you know...is it worth it to play the eearlier Myst games (how far back are the graphics 'exciting'?).
