UK Fears grow over migrant protests: Warnings of unrest as tensions rise in UK communities
This thread seems to end into a "witch hunt". All against the asylum seekers. Hardly nobody here tries to get things straight. Just migrants bashing. Wonderful easy. What would you be without all those doctors or nurses in hospitals who "invaded" your lovely UK? Coming highly educated from Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, or Iran eg?. You all here seem to be on your own personal migrant hunt. Pathetic. Here some hard facts you don't know. Up to a third of sexual assaults committed by migrants in 2024 https://share.google/LiAHG3uB67wt65gl1 And now you can start your thumb down orgy. I read only comments, however -

KPlus is now almost useless to me after 4 years without issues they impose this on me
This is the worrying bit and I agree, I'm thinking how it might apply to me one day in an emergency situation as it's not something I considered before and I normally like to cover all bases. Even if they bought a wireless chip & pin terminal to the bedside for payment it's not clear if the limits would apply as it's not a cash withdrawal, but I wouldn't be surprised if the limits did still apply even though it's a direct purchase without cash. I'm considering opening a joint account with the Mrs that holds a few million Baht of emergency money and is readily accessible for the future. Is your insurance company a Thai or foreign insurance company, I wonder if that affected things - especially if it was a foreign insurance company, for example - I use BUPA International and any payment would not arrive instantly at all, but they are very well established and well known.
