Benlucky Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 (edited) Went to Thai conslute in Vientiane this morning arrived at 8am only 17 people ahead of me, gates opened 830am. Total waiting time 45 minutes for every thing, paid 2000 baht for 2x tourist visa. Go back Wednesday to pick up visa. From Chiang Mai to Vientiane used Lao Air, 9,500 baht round trip. Will not do again!! Takes 7 hours, layover 3-4 hours. Last time I came here Dec 06 Lao air only 45 minute layover each way. Also visa for Laos is now 36 US dollars for Americans.
