Frozen, Microwaveable Thai Food

Since my small hotel is open 24/7, I want to see if it's possible for me to provide each guestroom with a microwave oven and a choice of reheatable food, (since many customers arrive in the middle of the night).

I can buy reheatable pizzas etc. But does anyone sell reheatable Thai food - and food that actually tastes ok after being reheated?

Try the ready made Thai meals in 7-11. They are ok as a standby in my experience and cost about 45B. I've also seen similar frozen Thai meals in Big C.

Lotus have a range of ready made Thai foods suitable for microwave. End of milk section. But quite expensive.

Big C, Tesco and Carrefore do a selection, i find Carrefore to have the better of them all.... Try the Roast Duck and Noodles, Chicken in Oyster Sauce with rice... they are not that bad!

The price is not really a big problem. I just put on a profit margin and if someone is starving in the middle of the night, then I'm sure they will go ahead and eat it!

BAD idea m/wave in every room.

and Simon needs to buy only 1 microwave oven, not to mention what people are doing or their kids when using these ovens....

BTW: I will have very soon Indian dishes (ready cooked and microwaveable) made by an Indan Chef!

Cant see why you dont pay the local kitchen to run up 10 portions of phad krapow etc.. Package and freeze..

Would be tastier than the 7/11 packs I would have thought.. Probably more generous too.

I was thinking along similar lines.

Good idea, simple matter to get plastic m/waveable containers.

Fill them, label, wrap in Gladwrap, shrinkwrap, woteva and freeze, yes.

CP Foods (Charoen Pokphand) do a range of frozen Thai food, not bad either

and available in most supermarkets, look for CP on the packaging.
