Hello all.

Inspired by the low air fares to Macau (www.airasia.com) I'm considering doing the run there for a new Thai tourist visa.

I'm trying to find out if Thailand has an embassy in Macau; didn't find any indication of one, but did find the website for the one in HK (www.thai-consulate.org.hk/5About_Consular_Affairs_&_Services.htm).

I'm also trying to determine the visa situation for either of the two places (US passport); I've seen mention that either place provides visa on arrival.

If anyone has made this run, please post on how things went. Also, how long it took for the visa to be issued (in NYC it was an overnight process).

thanks much

No, there isn't.

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Hong Kong is responsible for all consular services for Macao as well.

But why not let us know about your experience in Hong Kong... :o
