Does anyone know what the name of the chemical is that the pest control companies in Thailand use when they spray peoples homes and gardens?

I would like to research it and then decide if I should get them to stop coming to my house.

The house I'm renting is getting pest control guys come every 3 months and after spraying the garden and house inside I get extremely bad headaches and I am sure it is quite bad for my health. They use those big pressurized bottels strapped to their backs.

Also if anyone has got information on more healthy alternatives to keep the tiny little ants out of the house, as well as cockroaches it would be great.
