April 28, 200818 yr Just need a really simple software to control a remote computer. Reason is that the computer at home needs to be shut down or restarted at certain times from my office here. I know its possible but googling just gives me some really complex systems. when younger we used to play with trojans in each's computers and it used to be fun scaring the shit out of other users so this one has to be secure !
April 28, 200818 yr I use VNC http://www.realvnc.com/ free, secure and the paid version is multi platform. It works amazingly well over limited bandwidth connections. You'll need to forward the relevant ports in you home router for it to work. Edited April 28, 200818 yr by Crossy "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
