In short I catched a virus in Korea that was not recognised by any scanner.

Yes they picked up that there was something wrong but could not clean, rename ore remove it.

Friend of me that stay in China had a similair problem and IT department installed a Chinese AV scanner that was able to clean .

Question to you very experienced IT people.

Could it be that when running a AV scanner that looks for signature's in English will not recognise Chinese and other Asian virus?
