Suwartin, a 45-year-old divorcee and mother of two, had a five-month sexual relationship with the boy and insisted on more sex when the teenager wanted to stop, the South China Morning Post reported. The boy eventually confessed what was happening to the leader of a Christian group he attended, who then alerted the boy's mother, the newspaper said. At a court hearing Monday, the maid pleaded guilty to five charges of committing an indecent act with an underage child between last August and January. She will be sentenced later this month. Surwatin told the court she began working for the boy's family in 2005 but had not initially been close to the boy who sometimes shouted at her, the hearing in Hong Kong's District Court was told. The sexual relationship began after she discovered the teenager, who lives with his divorced mother and two brothers, surfing internet porn sites. Afterwards, they watched porn films on the internet together and had sex, the court heard. When the boy tried to end their sexual relationship after five months, Surwatin refused and they had sex three more times over the following weeks, the newspaper said. Surwatin told the court through her lawyer that she acted out of loneliness and said she would live with the shame of what she had done for the rest of her life. More than 200,000 women from the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand work as live-in maids for families in Hong Kong. But I would suggest that you are confused about what the 'age of consent' actually means when sexual relations occur between two individuals where there is a socially-unacceptable age gap, especially when one of the individuals is in a position of power & authority over the minor. This then moves into the realm of 'statutory rape' where a person has sexual relations with an individual not old enough to legally consent to the behavior. The 'age of consent' is different to the 'age of majority'. Care to make a comment about sex with 14 year olds now that you more fully aware of your moral obligations? The 'age of consent' is 13 years in Spain, South Korea & Nigeria & only 12 years in parts of Zimbabwe. Maybe you should to travel to Spain & <deleted> a 13 year old girl & see what happens. Most, if not all western countries, & probably a significant number of other less developed countries have laws that are used in the cases where one individual is over the 'age of consent' but under the 'age of majority' (in most cases 18 years old) & there is a 'socially unacceptable age gap' (set by the prevailing culture) between the parties involved. The police then have options of charging the adult party with 'statutory rape', especially in cases where the adult party is in a position of power or authority. In this case a 14 year old & a 45 year old with the adult party in a position of authority. Like I have previousely stated - the age of consent in Spain is 13 years & if you as an adult (I am assuming that your are an adult from your avatar, please correct me if I am wrong) go to Spain & have sex with a 13 year old girl (over the age of consent), you can expect to charged with the local variation of what is commonly known as 'statutory rape'. My comments may be trite, but the question remain unanswered... Do you think it is acceptable for an adult to have sex with a 13 year old child in a country where the age of consent is 13 years of age? I don't know about some of the guys in here, but it's hard to force a male to copulate unless he's willing. Small matter of obtaining an erection. Sure, teenagers are always ready to go at it, but they also are more likely to stress out when under pressure. Oh sure, his bible class teacher says it's the lady's fault, because it's always those evil women that are seducing men, isn't it? No argument from me that it was inappropriate conduct on the part of the maid, but the male was up for some fun. Everyone knows that kids will always hide the porn if the help is around.
