Dear Members of the Forum,

I have another question about the residency application procedure, but let me give you my details first:

* Dutch national

* Born in 1975 (27 years old)

* Non-immigrant visa (Business) extended for more than 3 years without any interuptions

* Work permit for same amount of time

* Contract with Thai company, extended year by year

(oh, and no Thai wife or children)

My question is this: some say that if you apply for the working/business type residency all you need is the work permit, others claim you always need money in the bank. Now, I am unable to find information about the money in the bank thing anywhere. When I asked the legal department of my business, they said they were unsure. Does anybody know? What is the amount you need to have?

Thanks in advance,

Vodyanoi
