Thailand Voa Form

Featured Replies

Just thought Id share this for reference.

Iv been told that Thai immigration have refused printed forms on occasion and insist on you filling out their "official one" :o In that case just use this as a guideline!

so no point of printing your form - the form probably suppose to be mashine readable and to store on files, so might need a proper size and gramature of the paper

on every internationl flight the crew hands out the form

Have you seen a Form TM 88 ?

Did you open the offered form?

Visa on Arrival Forms are NOT handed out on ANY International Flights.

Kindly refrain from giving wrong information.

They are available ONLY at the Airport and other points of entry.

I have not been able to find any official place to download the form

- even after requesting assistance on this Forum.

I have seen Passengers arrive with completed Forms - but I guess they are Regular Travellers

who have collected a supply of the Forms on a previous visit.

You can’t download the arrival card from anywhere, only original one is accepted. Some airlines distribute arrival cards on their flight and some don’t.

Some borders still use the old paper version when they are out of stock, and one time they refused to accept my new version, which I reserved from a previous entry; so don’t be surprised.

Since you sent me a PM I assume your also directing this at me.

Iv clearly stated in the first post to use the form as a referance, never claimed it could be used to apply for the Visa.

Hope my intentions are clear now.

We are NOT talking about the arrival card (TM6) we are talking about the visa on arrival form (TM88) used by nationals of a small number of countries (IIRC mainly Indian sub-continent) who cannot get the free 30 day stamp but must purchase a visa on arrival at the airport.

I've flown India (DEL, MUM and BLR) => BKK on numerous occasions, never seen them handing out VOA forms only the TM6 landing cards (and often not even them) :o

Here you are completely right :o

I guess I read it very fast, sorry for my misunderstanding, cheers.
