mr.buffalo Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 When I was out at Christmas ( a long time ago now ) there was a bar for sale in a little complex just down from Easyriders ( the complex across the road from the magicians show and has the Joy bar at the back that has some poles for the obvious ) any way I expressed an interest to one of the bar girls, she told the manageress ( I have used that particular bar for a few years now, you know the sort, have a few beers on the way down town few beers on the way back if not otherwise engaged ) and she told me that after April the bars are being knocked down and flats are going to be built on that site. Has the work started? I can imagine some one buying the bar that was for sale then being told 3 months later it's getting demolished. Go ting tong or what ? Sorry, did not take any photos but i was there all of march and 1/2 of april and can attest to it being there or not being there depending on your point of view.
